Q: What is the CJLA?
A: Jewish Lawyers of Canada (JLC) is a national network of over 1,000 members. We provide a unified platform for legal professionals in Canada, offering advocacy, professional development, networking, and community support. Our leadership includes President Eric Frydman and Vice President Esther Mendelsohn working alongside a rotating board of excutives.

A: CJLA organizes CPD-accredited seminars, community education programs, and networking events. Topics have included antisemitism, Holocaust denial, and celebrating Jewish diversity in the legal profession.

Q: Who can join JLC?
A: Membership is open to all legal professionals across Canada, as well as allies who support our mission. You do not need to be Jewish to join.

A: Visit our Membership page to complete an application form. Once approved, you’ll gain access to networking events, CPD opportunities, and exclusive resources.
Q: Are there membership fees?
A: No. Membership is free.
